This is such a great blog omg I'm going through it and finding more and more things to watch :D Villain x hero/heroine pairings are my favorite and they don't seem to ever come true (right now I can only think of 1 book where that happened) Anyways, awesome blog, keep it going!

GENIE! FOR MY FIRST WISH…

Loki and Jane Foster (MCU) There is just something so perfect about the two of them together. From the moment Loki said “pay her a visit” in the first Thor, I shipped them. I know it will never happen, but god think of how HOT it would be.

FOR MY SECOND WISH…

Lucy and Flynn (Timeless NBC) They BELOOOONG together! Come on, the sexual tension is tearing me apart! Every time they look at each other they are having sex. Go away Wyatt Wywy Whatever your name is- Flynn and Lucy are in love.

AND FOR MY THIRD AND FINAL WISH…

Hans and Elsa (Disney’s Frozen) Clever and handsome Hans got into some trouble, but I’m sure he could find redemption if given the chance. After all, he didn’t actually kill anyone. It would interest me VERY much to see a dramatic hate-to-love romance between these two. It won’t happen, it’s Disney y’all and Hans is still the butt of the jokes, but if it were MY story to tell… well Hans wouldn’t be scooping poop in Frozen 2, I’ll tell you that much.

It’s Holmes vs Moriarty in this musical version of Sherlock Holmes

“Everything I have to say has already crossed your mind.”

There’s a Sherlock Holmes musical? YES. (a few actually) but this one is fairly new. My Dear Watson: A Sherlock Holmes Musical begins with Watson’s introduction to the famous detective and takes us all the way to the final showdown with Moriarty where Holmes, presumably, loses his life.

Honestly, I really enjoyed the show. I think there were a few things I would definitely tweak about it or at least make more clear (like if three years have gone by, you need to literally BEAT your audience with a stick that says so. Say that line LOUD and PROUD please) Ya know, little things, but overall it was a fabulous musical. It really focused on the relationship between Holmes and Watson, which I liked. Watson, having just come home from the war, is told that his new roommate is a strange, friendless, unfeeling man who is as cold as a machine. Eventually, this is proved to be wrong. Watson realizes that there is more to his friend than what’s on the surface; Holmes does care, he’s just not used to having friends i guess? (shrugs)

Meanwhile, Holmes is also coming to realize that he may have found a true friend in Watson. There is a pivotal moment at the end of the 1st act (I won’t spoil it too much), where Watson protects Holmes with his life and Holmes is taken-aback enough to sing a whole song about (cue the violin)

Holmes and Watson were sweet, but the dynamic between Holmes and Moriarty stood out the most to me. I’m sure it depends on the cast, but the chemistry between our hero and villain was on point. They share a song together near the end of act 2. It was truly the best song the show had to offer, in my opinion… Well, other than the chess/checkers/game song (GOD I wish I had enough room on this post to rant about that well-blocked beautifully-written piece of perfection, but alas). Anyway, SPOILER ALERT, Moriarty asks Holmes to join him, attempting to seduce the detective to his side when it becomes clear that Moriarty will never be able to get Holmes off his trail. Now, the actor I saw playing Sherlock Holmes NEARLY takes the villain’s offered hand… a small, split-second flicker of “what if” crossed that actor’s face. It was such a powerful millisecond that really added depth to this “hero” we were rooting for. I won’t tell you what exactly had snapped Sherlock out of his moment of darkness, but it definitely had something to do with his best friend Watson ;D

Really great stuff. Great GREAT stuff going on in My Dear Watson. I hope the rest of you tumblr fans will have the pleasure of experiencing it one day. Worth the watch.
